Counselling is an opportunity to discuss and work through difficult and sometimes painful issues that are troubling you.  It is not about telling you what to do, giving out advice or judging you.

Counselling can help gain a better understanding of difficulties you may be experiencing.  Sometimes these can be triggered by situations you find yourself in or perhaps unconsciously you are setting up defence mechanisms that work against you.

I firmly believe that building a therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor is at the heart of counselling.  This relationship is built on honesty, trust and sincerity.  Be assured that whatever you choose to talk about, I will never treat you differently or judge you.

I will provide a quiet, private and supportive space where we can explore whatever issues are affecting or troubling you.

Having counselling may not always be an easy experience but it can be immensely rewarding and beneficial.
